- Full Container Load (FCL)
Your cargo is enough to stuff the whole container and container is sealed after the stuffing and then container is moved. Under FCL, cargo inside the container is shipped by single shipper or more than one shipper also in certain cases and it is expected to be delivered to the single consignee only.
- Less than Container Load (LCL)
When single shipper doesn’t have enough cargo to stuff the whole container, cargoes of more than one shippers are stuffed into a single container who want to ship their cargo to the uniform destination. LCL shipment caters the smaller needs of the customers and the cargo can be shipped by LCL as soon as it comes off the production line.
- AIR FREIGHT SERVICES
Perishable cargoes like food stuff, pharmaceuticals, chocolates, dairy products, fishes, flowers, frozen products, plant materials, vaccines, etc. that is expected to be moved on a priority basis are moved via air.
Apart from that, urgency of the cargo is also a crucial factor that determines the decision of air logistics.
- CUSTOM CLEARANCE
Customs clearance is the act of taking goods through the customs authority to facilitate the movement of cargo into a country (import) and outside the country (export). There are various kinds of shipping bills i.e. drawback shipping bill, dutiable shipping bill, duty free shipping bill, ex-bond shipping bill or coastal shipping bill, out of which shipping bill that is needful based on the type of your product/destination is filed to the customs.
- TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Transportation is the core part of logistical activities. Either you can send your cargo to the gateway port and get it stuffed into the container after the clearance of the same or you can call up the container at the premises of your factory for stuffing and then send it back to the gateway port or inland port. In short, transportation is considered to be an inevitable activity in the international trade.
- PALLETIZATION SERVICES
Palletization refers to the process of placing goods or materials, either packaged or bulk, onto pallets. The pallet provides a base for the goods and materials, thereby promoting the efficient storage, handling and transportation for the combination of goods and the pallet base, referred to collectively as the unit load.
Palletization brings advantages such as lesser risk of product damage, more efficient material handling and storage, better optimization of cube utilization in transportation and storage, faster turnaround of delivery vehicle, dramatically reduced labor requirement versus manual handling.
- FUMIGATION SERVICES
Fumigation certificate is an approval document issued by the licensing authority to indicate that shipment and shipping materials have been properly fumigated. The certificate contains details about the fumigation of goods such as the purpose of treatment, the type of fumigants used, and the temperature range that was applied. All the information ensures that proper fumigation process has been followed.
- PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATION
A Phytosanitary Certificate is an official document required when shipping regulated articles such as plants, plant products or other regulated articles. A phyto certificate is an official document that is generated from the exporting country’s Department of horticulture, agriculture, food or water resources. It can only be issued by an authorized officer from a government department that is authorized by a National Plant Protection Agency (NPPO). The agency is in force to protect the threat of spreading pests, contamination or diseases into the country of import.
"International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15" (ISPM-15) was created by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) to address the international shipment of potentially contaminated solid wood materials. Its main purpose is to prevent the spread of insects and disease that could have a negative impact on plants and ecosystems as a result of solid wood packaging used in the international transport of goods. According to ISPM-15, all solid wood and wood packaging materials (WPM) over 6 mm in thickness used for export, such as wooden pallets, dunnage and crating, must be treated.
- CERTIFICATION OF ORIGIN
It is a certificate indicating the fact that the goods which have been exported have originated or manufactured in a particular country. So it is a sort of declaration testifying the origin of export. There are mainly two kinds of Certificate of Origin; Preferential COO and Non-Preferential COO.
Preferential COO entitles preferential treatment in duty in the importing country. These certificates are governed by rules of origin which are always part of Preferential Trading Agreements entered into between two or more countries.
Non-Preferential COO evidences the origin of goods and do not bestow any right to preferential tariffs.
